I Wonder

"Laughter is the best medicine" said they,
But I wonder what happens when the agony inside you stops you from staying gay.

"Ignorance is bliss" said they,
But I wonder how far by not believing the facts one can get away.

"Actions speak louder than words" said they,
But I wonder what happens when the silence pushes two people away.

"Absence makes the heart grow fonder" said they,
But I wonder what happens when inspite of one's presence the other goes astray.

"The best things in life are free" said they,
But I wonder what happens when your unbounded love is considered a play!

"Every cloud has a silver lining" they say,
And thus, the undying hope for togetherness is here to stay.
